  1. There had already been a significant change in direction between Landberk's Lonely Land and One Man Tells Another, but nothing that could have foretold the Swedish group's third and final opus, Indian grizhalnamorsibumiwalonmopechand.xyzinfong its progressive rock skin, Landberk reinvented itself as a mellow alternative-cum-intelligent rock outfit. Some people will be tempted to compare this album to Pink Floyd's.
  2. Indian Summer itself continued Landberk's transition to art rock as against prog, interrupted by their eventual split. I suppose it isn't that different to their first two albums, but there's a shift somewhere in their sound suggesting that they could, given time, have, er, .

  4. 5. Rememberence - the worst track on the album. 6. Valentinsong - slow, moody and depressing. Its a bit too long. Similar to Opeth's songs on Dammnation, but they did half a dozen years earlier 7. Tell - their best song ever. The opeining best riff I've ever heard. This track is the reason to get this album. A bit of jamming like in Wilco's new /5(5).
  5. With the last studio albums from ANEKDOTEN (Gravity, ) and LANDBERK (Indian Summer, ) somewhat less exciting than some of their earlier work, I'm even looking forward to any follow-up MORTE MACABRE CD's more than to new releases from the original bands. "Symphonic Holocaust" is easily one of the best CD releases of /5(21).
  6. This was LANDBERK's first studio album released in the same year fellow Swedes ANGLAGARD released "Hybris". ANEKDOTEN would release "Vemod" the following year as Prog would see a comeback thanks to these Swedish bands. LANDBERK might not be as powerful as ANEKDOTEN or as complex as ANGLAGARD but they don't take a back seat to either grizhalnamorsibumiwalonmopechand.xyzinfog: Humanize.
  7. The new band - Indian Summer. And what a difference the English summer has made to this Coventry group. Suddenly. after two and half years, it's all come together. Never one to quit while he's ahead, Jim took them to Rodger Bain to produce - and so the same combination that earlier brought Sabbath to the world's stage now takes up Indian grizhalnamorsibumiwalonmopechand.xyzinfog: Humanize.

  9. Apr 29,  · Indian Summer is my favorite Landberk album, despite some odd familiarity–especially in the vocals (at times I hear striking similarities to ICEHOUSE, THE CHURCH, INXS, and DAVID SYLVIAN). This album shows maturity and, yes, autonimity; they’ve really come into their own sound.
